Rules & Regulations

  • Birds will be planted one hour or so before the scheduled hunt time. NOTE: Although our ranch has hundreds of birds established from previous hunts, we will still plant birds before each hunt to insure our hunters are successful.
  • No Idaho State sanctioned law on bag limits or sex type on any upland game birds taken on shooting preserves.
  • Hunts are four hours max and start times are approximately 8am and 1pm.
  • Preserves are open seven days a week from August 15th to April 15th annually except for holidays.
  • Hunts must be scheduled two days in advance by phone, email, or text messaging. NOTE: (please do not rely on the guides or bird planters to schedule hunts).
  • If no one answers when you call, leave your name, date and time requested, and number of hunters and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
  • All hunters must be able and willing to obtain an Idaho Hunting License and or Shooting Preserve License.
  • All minors must be accompanied by an adult and anyone hunting under the age of 16 will be required to hire a guide.
  • Hunters and their guests must sign a liability release form prior to hunting on our preserves.
  • All hunters, guests, and walk-a-longs must exercise safety and conduct themselves accordingly.
  • We reserve the right to refuse hunting to any hunter who may be under the influence or unable to safely move about the preserves (prior arrangements may be possible for hunters who have limited mobility and or other restrictions).
  • Guides are in charge of every hunt and have the right to cancel hunts due to any safety concerns, severe weather conditions, or any other situation that they feel is inappropriate or unsafe for the hunters, themselves, or the dogs.
